I have never waited for a title to advocate for our students.
Through engagement, advocacy, and a deep commitment to transparency, I have worked to make a difference for Oldham County children.
What makes me a unique candidate is that I have already been doing much of the work candidates often promise to do. Even before running for election, I have worked to ask questions, seek answers, promote transparency, and advocate for positive change.
If elected as a member of the Board of Education, I will continue that work with dedication, purpose, and a focus on putting students first.
Every decision should be guided by what is best for students. Our schools should provide safe, supportive learning environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Trust is built when families and taxpayers understand how decisions are made. I support open communication, public access to information, and accountability at every level of district leadership.
Every child learns differently and deserves the support necessary to reach their full potential. I will advocate for supportive special education services, meaningful family partnerships, and resources that help all students succeed.
Female and male students deserve a safe, respectful, and equitable learning environment. I support clear policies, accountability, and fair processes that ensure concerns are addressed appropriately and female and male students are protected.
Taxpayer dollars should be spent wisely and strategically. I will support responsible budgeting, careful oversight, and ensuring resources are directed where they have the greatest impact on students.
Supporting teachers means providing the staff and resources they need to meet students' diverse needs. Counselors, interventionists, behavioral specialists, and special education professionals help ensure teachers can focus on what they enjoy the most. Teaching! Great schools begin with leaders who support teachers and students.
